Quick Tips for Improving Health
- Feel better quickly
- Get back into a fitness routine
As we begin to emerge back into “normal” society, it’s becoming a challenge to shake off the sluggishness. Personally, having been back at work for two weeks, I’ve seen myself shed some weight already but finding energy (especially to workout afterwards is a struggle).
It can be a challenge to readjust back into a normal routine. Whether that is work or changing the way you train, there are some ways in which you can mitigate the impact. Here are a few things that I think will help…
Water
Ensure that your hydration levels are ample. At least two litres should be the goal and more if you are training.
This will ensure you retain your focus, energy and healthy bodily functions.
Nutrition
Eating regularly and healthily is the best way to suppress your appetite and support weight loss.
Healthy snack choices will supplement meals and give you the energy needed for your daily routine.
Planning
This may seem obvious, however ensuring that your routine is consistent will improve your training motivation.
Whether you train in the morning or evening, a routine will enable you to prioritise your health and wellbeing.
Diversification
Doing a different style of training as part of your routine will get you results faster.
I’ve included circuit training on a regular basis and have managed to improve my physique as a result.
Ensure that you have an all-round training plan designed for your goals.
Sleep
This is perhaps one of the most underestimated factors of lifestyle health. Getting to bed earlier will ensure your body will recover more efficiently, give you more energy and reduce overall stress.
Having a successful pre-sleeping routine will vastly improve your wellness.
