Where to Begin with Fitness?
Where to Begin?
- Getting going after a lull
- Fitness ideas to help
None more so than after the last 18 months, health has become a priority for many people.
As I have mentioned in previous blogs, either this experience has made you appreciate the importance of improved well-being or it has led to a demise in overall well-being.
Now it is far from my place to judge people in this blog and everybody is perfectly entitled to their own lifestyle. My opinion is, and has been that fitness is the most important investment you will make in your life. Regardless of time and money, better health will mean an improved quality of life, something that you cannot just buy.
As regards my training plan and motivation, I will admit that it has been rather stale. It’s at this point that I’m contemplating joining a gym again to give me that extra impetus.
On the other hand, I have been playing a considerable amount of golf and trying to balance work plus fitness can be a challenge. However, with my goal being muscle gain, the repetition of home dumbbells isn’t cutting it.
When it comes to raw beginnings, I would suggest that it is important to merely get moving!
Don’t worry so much about going head first into a gym membership so much as moving in general.
Whatever inspires you to keep active is what I would recommend. Finding something that you love is far more important than overstepping the mark.
Personally, my fitness routine almost feels like a full-time job. I’m currently training 6 days a week and trying to increase muscle mass. I would admit that I could probably train about 4 days a week and still achieve the same results however I enjoy the process. The most important factor, as I have blogged about regularly is consistency.
Enjoy what you do and ensure that it’s effective then simply repeat until it plateaus. It really is that simple. Whatever your fitness level, you will benefit from the impartial advice of a fitness professional to set you on your way.
